Know Your Rights Trainings

We provide Know Your Rights trainings for anyone, but especially for people who have a criminal record or know someone who has a criminal record. Our team of attorneys, community organizers, and community leaders provide trainings that focus on how to clear a criminal record, rights around housing, employment, and voting, and ways to take action when one’s rights are violated. Please note, we provide information about the sealing and expungement process, eligibility, and connection to legal services, but we cannot file petitions to expunge or seal records at outreach events. Additionally, we compile digital resources for those who are looking to learn about their rights or the record relief process at their own pace.
